The Greater Memphis Chamber has announced the 10 young professionals selected for the Young Memphis Class of 2019. This group was honored at an intimate reception on August 15th.
This year’s awards are presented by LSI Graphics.
Chamber Board Chair Richard Smith, President & CEO of FedEx Logistics, extended congratulations to the group of honorees.
“The Greater Memphis Chamber is focused on making sure that the momentum underway in our city continues,” Smith told the group. “The number one thing companies want to know is if they can find the talent they need in this market. You are proof that the answer to that question is a resounding ‘YES’.”
“The young professionals in Memphis have dedicated much time and energy towards the momentum in Memphis in which they are key vessels that keep the city thriving,” said Beverly Robertson President & CEO of the Greater Memphis Chamber. “The Chamber is very proud to introduce 10 young professionals that lead and push innovative ideas that help grow and sustain our economy and we are honored to celebrate them for their achievements and impact to the Greater Memphis region.”
Nominees for the Young Memphis Awards have demonstrated excellence in their professional fields and civic engagement in the Greater Memphis community. A record number of nominations were received this year.

The new Young Memphis class will be featured in the next issue of Momentum Magazine. This issue will have an editorial focus on the state of talent and workforce development in Memphis. It will also highlight Memphis’ future business and community leaders and to demonstrate how young professionals are making an impact on our city.
