Career Services at Southwest Tennessee Community College

The Career Services team at Southwest Tennessee Community College realizes that while many businesses have temporarily closed or limited operations, others continue to operate and may have positions to fill.  In support of both these employers and Southwest “soon-to-be-graduates” looking for employment, Career Services continues to post and maintain full and part-time job listings. Greater Memphis Financial Empowerment Center

The Greater MEMPHIS Financial Empowerment Center (GMFEC) is still working with clients remotely. If anyone needs one-on-one financial counseling we can schedule them for sessions if they call (901) 390-4200. The counselors are certified and the service is free regardless of their income levels. We have a contract through the Shelby County Trustee’s office and the GMFEC was created with a match grant from Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE).

Shelby County Schools CCTE

Attention SCS CCTE students! You can still finish some certifications online this year by May 22. Be on the lookout for info from your teachers, and find these resources and more at
